Agropur Co-operative has launched OKA L’Artisan cheese in individual portions in a creamy textured Swiss flavour. The company says the new product is ideal for busy cheese lovers and for school lunches – or both.
OKA cheese is one of Quebec’s first fine cheeses. Production started in 1893 in a monastery of Trappist monks. Agropur says that today the company follows the same ancient monastic recipe.
The individual portions of the OKA L’Artisan with a Swiss twist come in nets of five 20-g portions for $4.99, and eight 20-g portions for $7.99.
