Digi International Inc. offers its Digi SafeTemps to help customers protect their inventory when it’s on the road or when it’s parked at a dock.

Digi SafeTemps, says the company, can wirelessly measure the air temperature in the trailer and show users what the temperature is at throughout the time the inventory is in transit. It can also “serve as an independent audit of refrigeration system compliance,” says Digi International on its website.

The company says Digi SafeTemps can also send location-based alerts if there’s a change in temperature such as a door being left open.

SafeTemps is also easy to install in wireless temperature sensors and gateways in fleets and refrigeration units of all types, says Digi International.

The company says SafeTemps can also “eliminate error-prone manual logging with automated trip, shipment and delivery reports.”
